We had a great time surfing with these guys! The beach is perfect for beginners and we all caught plenty of waves. Loved Billy's enthusiastic energy and Tristan's detailed intro. Felt totally safe with both instructors despite the many other surfers in the water. They fitted us into an evening slot on another day when one of our booked lessons couldn't go ahead due to weather warnings which was great (though sadly we weren't able to get the free hire afterwards). Overall an awesome experience and can't wait to get back!

Hired boards and wetsuits for a couple of hours and it was great fun. Quick, simple and affordable hire and friendly staff. Equipment was good quality and the beach is a fantastic location!

having lived in Cornwall all my life you'd think I'd of surfed before, well you'd be wrong. To be truthful I've never had the body confidence to get in a wetsuit bug surrounded by friends all that changed and Today I took that leap under the careful guidance of Ian at Gwithian academy of surfing, he was very professional with a great sense of humour and made me feel at ease in the water. I highly recommend this service and will definitely be returning

Really awesome wetsuit hire and equipment!! Really easy service and the staff were really helpful! Highly recommend Only thing to point out, there is no changing facilities if you are hiring wetsuits, unless you wanted to change by your car/van (which I did - and it didnt bother me) or you can (sneakily) use the restaurant toilets which my friends used as they weren't as comfortable changing by the car. If I return here (and I haven't already bought a suit) I will definitely be visiting again, maybe even for surf lessons!

Great equipment, fantastic lessons and most of all, a lot of fun. A group of us joined the academy for 6 lessons over the past week and we had a great time. Billy lead the lessons throughout week and he was a brilliant teacher. He easily broke down instructions so we had fun whilst improving our surfing.
