Just had a two night stay at this beautiful hidden gem. Sue and Pete are wonderful friendly hosts, as are their sons Richard and young Pete. Nothing was too much trouble and they made us feel very welcome. As a wedding venue it has the perfect setting and feel, the day went off without a hitch. Everyone was relaxed and well catered for. On our arrival after a 3 1/2 hour journey, we had refreshments and a tour of the house. Wow what a house it is absolutely beautiful inside and out. Our bedroom was perfect and comfortable I slept like a log both nights. Continental breakfast on the lawn idyllic. As a wedding venue I could not fault it, they have it just right. They work so well as a team. I just wish it was in my county. To top it off there are two adorable donkeys and a couple of peacocks along side some sheep. This is the first wedding i have been to where i couldn't fault a thing. Thank you guys for making our stay wonderful. Jeanette and Philip x

Beautiful setting for wedding venue, an absolutely stunning house, with spacious lawns and gardens, with lots to see. Plenty of great photo opportunities with lots of nooks and crannies. A lovely friendly family run business, who go out of their way to make your day unique and one to remember.

We were lucky enough to have our Reception at this beautiful place. Everything from start to finish was a breeze. Communication between Richard and I couldn't have been any better! Prompt email replies with informative answers with plenty of help and suggestions, what more could a bride-to-be want for organising their wedding! The grounds and house are absolutely gorgeous and we are so blessed to have been able to have our wedding reception here. We also used the Car as transport from our church to the hall, Peter (our driver) was dressed extremely well, the car was also turned out to the highest of standards. I felt like the Princess every bride should be on their wedding day. At the reception I thought I would be worried about making sure everything happened at the right time however the busy beavers in the background made sure everything that I planned went off without a hitch. The rooms were amazing for my husband and I to stay in plus our guests. The breakfast that was done for us the next morning really topped the whole amazing experience here. Once you visit the house, Richard and his team I am sure you will struggle to find a place better!

What a fantastic find! A beautiful and private getaway, set in tranquil grounds. We had a lovely weekend there, enjoying the fantastic hospitality and the luxurious rooms. Can’t recommend highly enough.
