Although it was a wet day, it was such a lovely day. The place is small but brimming with wildlife. From Robins to Roe deer. Too many dog walkers though that dont understand the rules of the nature reserve

First time there yesterday and what a beautiful nature reserve it's so relaxing and peaceful with all the lovely wildlife it is such a nice walk and was lovely sitting watching the ducks in the water and even got to see the heron too.... I will definitely be going back ️
Nice to get out and about safely. Two car parks t choose from with the lake being at the far end. Need stout walking boots or Wellington boots as many boggy areas in autumn, winter. Furthest car park easier if you don't know the area, as many paths, no signposts. Even red squirrels said to be in one part as mixed woodland.
A lovely place to walk and relax by the lake watching the ducks being chased by moor hens (I think). Plus the beautiful swan and the heron in a stand off. Ha, sounds like a war zone. Seriously, it is a very peacful and reflective space. We walk there regularly when it's not too busy.
Lovely place first time I had been
