A wonderful place for walking, cycling, getting together in the open air and taking in an area bursting with wildlife. There a lot of walks to choose from, those skirting the river and canal are particularly nice. A number of car parks and Haughton Green Village bus stops make it easy to get to if travelling further afield than the immediate locality. Highly recommended.

Nature at it's best and within walking distance from our home...
A beautiful spot. Listening to the sound of the rushing river, as I walked through the nature reserve was good. I am a keen ornathologist I was amazed at how many birds were inhabiting the area. I will definitely come again.
Remote and quiet with good walks along canal also the river though the woods we also liked the waterfall
First visit. Lovely walk in the sun. Beautiful views of the river. Shame there was no map at the entrance. Enjoyed the walk was worth a visit.
