It can be slim pickings for a good Chinese around Haymarket but can say that Hau Han ticks all the boxes, freshly prepared (chilli prawns were crispy and veggies still had crunch!) great value menu for one and limited choices much more realistic and reliable than an overly extensive microwave menu. Interior very cute too.

Really solid grub. Really helpful service over the phone. Best salt and chilli chips in the game.
Prawn toast was a bit too oily but the flavour was ok. Satay was on the salty side. On the other hand, nice deco and friendly staff.
Second time I order take away from Hau Han. The first time was VERY bland including the noodles. Second time poor portions sizes plus way too salty and spicy in comparison from the first time even though I love salt. Chefs should try before serving! I wish they make more classic Chinese dishes . I don't think I will order again.
