Very upsetting incident northbound about 13:30 October 27th on the B6320 between Wark and Bellingham. After waiting at a red light it changed to green so I drove through. Half way I met a large wagon followed by several cars coming the other way. The driver insisted he had also gone on green. I was towing a caravan so couldn’t reverse and had to pull into a gap between the cones. Further southbound traffic came through and I also acquired a tail of several cars behind me who had also had to dodge oncoming traffic. Eventually an operative from Hatton turned up but instead of listening to my explanation he started shouting and swearing that I’d gone through a red and it was all my fault. My wife and I insist that the light was green as did the driver behind me. I am very upset that the Hatton guy was rude and aggressive and wouldn’t countenance a fault with their equipment.

Hatton have left signs lying along Victoria Rd West in Hebburn for the last four weeks. Some knocked over with dirty bags of sand lying alongside. When they will tidy them up God only knows. A disgrace.
