A perfect place to park for a beautiful canalside walk. The cafe is open for takeaway food and drinks. The breakfast sandwiches are amazing and well deserved after a long walk. Have been twice and will be back many more times I am sure.

A highly enjoyable walk along the canal, a little muddy in places. You will need wellies or waterproof boots.
There are lots of locks here, so the place is accurately named. It's a good place to come if you want your kids to know that you don't really understand engineering as well as you think you do. Also there are lots of ducks here, and I also saw an enormous dog. You'll probably see ducks, but I don't know if the enormous dog will be there again.
Places to sit, to play, to learn as well as watching all the boats advancing through the locks. Busy around the cafe but also some much quieter areas to sit and relax. There's a separate path for runners and cyclists so they don't get slowed down by the visitors. Very reasonable parking charges. Plentiful sloes to forage too.
Nice walk along the canal cafe is currently open parking is 1.50 for the day.
