It's nice and the staff are very friendly. Food is great and great value for money. We go there when open or to get a takeaway when they are in lock down. Big thanks to them all when we had power cuts they were there for us at short notice.

The Hatchet Inn is a hostelry filled with good food and excellent beverages. Staff are friendly and the ambience is warm and welcoming. An inn that in the troubled times of lockdown has reached out to support the community and its more vulnerable customers. When you can come and visit.
Really lovely food! (We ordered 4 different meals and all were cooked to perfection) Very welcoming with wonderfully friendly staff! Reasonably priced if we lived locally this would definitely become our go to pub!!
This is my local and as such, its in my mind a proper pub. Good selection of ales on offer. The food is straightforward and honest, this is not a gastropub. A good atmosphere, never too rowdy or noisy, so a great place to meet up with friends for a couple of pints and a chat; which is surely what a pub is for.
