Hatay Restaurant/Raynes Park/Wimbledon

Been looking for an alternative to the mundane that makes up Raynes Park restaurants for some time now and found Hatay on a cold Friday eve. Solid, delicious, home cooking with an elegant twist. Love it and so you will you, I am sure! Friendly staff and just all-round great time.

Attentive service. Delicious food. My family had a lovely time here. It's pretty full at the weekends. They're good with seafood. Lovely grills too - all well cooked. The mixed grill and octopus stood out. We'll be back!

Lovely calm ambience and friendly service. Food was excellent, lamb cutlets beautifully pink and tender for example, and a whole calamari carefully spiced, not just rubbery rings. Quite a short menu, which can be a good sign in that they concentrate on doing the dishes they do really well. Good value. Will go again.

I am very fond of Turkish Cuisine and I have to say that Hatay is by far the nicest one I have tried in London. Everyone is very welcoming, the food is absolutely delicious with a lot of care taken in the presentation. A special mention to the Kunefe desert which is out of this world!

Absolutely wonderful evening - food is absolutely delicious and the service was so personable and friendly (staff are excellent). Yes it is a little on the expensive side but the portion sizes mean you do get value for money! Cannot recommend this place enough, particularly if you've never tried Turkish cuisine before!
