It is an interesting place. I have been in there just once before the pandemic but every time I walk by, I stare at it. I think it adds to the town. Here are some photos of the snowy season.

Nice when there's stuff going on on it but if I'm honest sort of wish it had been restored nearer to its former glory but at least they didn't dismantle it,

This glorious underrated resort is the jewel in the crown. East Hastings has charming cottages and streets redolent of Cornish fishing towns.( Folyes War was filmed here) Hastings still maintains a fishing fleet and grade 1 listed drying huts and art galleries. The seafood is excellent. There is a vernacular railway that takes you up to the castle and smugglers cove on East Cliff . There are eclectic wonderful shops in the medieval streets as well as bohemian art structures. There are numerous junk shops and antique emporiums as well as art galleries and juxtapositioned Victorian, Georgian and medieval jettied buildings. The pier has been rebuilt and is worth a visit as is the Crime museum. Frankly the town puts Brighton in the shade

Had a little trip down to Hastings on the 7th October, weather was bright warm but breezy. Walked from the Station down to the pier we think the pier was shut, but the gate was open we walked halfway along when a chap said sorry we are closed which was shame. Had to come back to the promenade. Views were very good on such a clear bright autumn day. Will travel down another time and visit the pier.

I love Hastings Pier, not only because I have an amazing view towards it from my flat but it looks great and last summer we had live gigs and super restaurant there.
