Hasaki Reviews | Rating 4,4 out of 5 stars (5 reviews)

Hasaki is located in New York, United States on 210 E 9th St. Hasaki is rated 4.4 out of 5 in the category japanese restaurant in United States. ce it opened in 1984, Hasaki has consistently produced high-quality, Edomae-style sushi and amazing sashimi. The owners have resisted the temptation to modify their traditional Japanese menu or otherwise compromise the time-tested recipes that made Hasaki such an institution in the East Village to begin with.king of which, if you’re hungry right now, you can head over to Hasaki and enjoy dishes like the octopus in vinegar sauce, tuna with grated yam, steamed egg custard, shrimp dumplings or sliced beef tongue with sansho pepper. This is just a small sampling, though, as the lunch and dinner menus are extensive.

This spot obviously knows how to satisfy their clients. Consistently with a super friendly demeanor. The food is fairly priced, always fresh and neat.

Sushi was good but, the waiter asked me if I wanted my sushi to come out one at a time or all at once on a large plate. Told him I wanted one at a time, but then they brought it on one large plate anyway. Why ask in the first place then? My wife liked her food. Service was otherwise excellent.

This is a top quality sushi place. Everything was great. I had to take away 1 star because its just too expensive for what I had. Expect to spend 75 on one sushi platter, serving for 1 person. It is high quality though.

I thought it was kind of odd to have a restaurant serving only hand rolls since Japan is so into presentation of food, but Hasaki rolls were delicious enough to even think about appearance. We got the 5 piece set which will fill you up just right, but I could have maybe had another one or two. You have the option to order more. It's a nice casual, fast (after you get seated that is), lunch or dinner. There was a line of about 10 people, but it's so worth it. I think the line can be longer. There was only two of us, but I would say it can be hard to get seats for 3 or more people, since it's sushi bar seating. The 5 piece was toro, yellowtail, scallop, lobster, and blue crab. They really were to die for. Melt in your mouth. Parking sucks FYI, so Uber it if you can.

Amazing sushi. So fresh and the service was so friendly. Absolutely will come again, my friend and I sat at the sushi bar and got sushi for 2. Perfect amount to fill us up!
