This time of year and safe distancing make the Marina a pleasant place for a quiet stroll. Plus it has the advantage of having the fish & chip place still open for takeaway meals. Under cover shelter from locked down currently closed outlets allow shelter to eat your fish whilst out of a chill wind.

Hartlepool Marina on the good days of the year is a nice place to go and relax with the seagulls by the Marina. There's a beach not very far where you can go for a relaxing family time. Also, at the marina are a variety of restaurants which gives the marina a combo of walk, food and sights as a good place to be. Flip side , when the weather is not so good it can be pretty windy (as most seaside places tend to be) and cold. But it's still going to be a lovely view irrespective. Definitely worth a visit if you're close to the North. Oh and if you're a boat owner - you'll appreciate this place a little bit more.
