I hadn't been to Hartington for a few years, so it was a delightful surprise to stumble upon this 'new' arrival on our walk today. The shop was tastefully set out, and the menu in the cafe section at the rear was so appealing that we decided to stop for an early lunch of oatcakes and tea. Quite delicious! The very pleasant staff made the whole experience a pleasure. Full marks.

Lovely local and Derbyshire cheeses, wines etc, well worth a visit. Some good walks and stunning views.
Lovely breakfast. Poached eggs cooked perfectly and tea in a teapot! Lovely service from all staff. Social distancing done perfectly with tables separated and staff in visors. All menus and tables wiped down on guests departure. Felt very safe. Perfect for breakfast in light of the youth hostel kitchens being closed.
Very friendly family run Farm shop and cafe. Lovely food,great prices, Lush home made cake,In lovely surroundings.Traditional surroundings,well worth a visit if your in & around the area.
Great selection of takeaways for second lockdown. Had the beef stew...delicious.
