Great local old school DIY and builder's merchants. Plumbing, electrical, carpentry, pest control and glass-cutting. They also have a workshop which very helpful e contains a massive bench saw which I have had occasion to use

Brilliant, so helpful, nothing is too much trouble. Their prices are good and reasonable for the excellent work they do together with their customer skills. Would highly recomend them to everyone. Try them, you won't be disappinted
These guys have been offering really good service throughout lockdown. I came across them as my usual timber place wasn't able to offer cut-to-size during Lockdown, but after about 4-5 visits to this place I have to say I can't fault it. Good quality timber, honest advice and a tonne of stock in this shop.
This place is an absolute Aladdins cave for any doing DIY. Friendly helpful and extremely professional staff. Nothing is a problem from cutting timber to size to offering advise on job. Support your local hardware store. First 20 mins. Parking free. What's not to like.
I'm all for supporting small shops but this one can be hard to defend. The staff can be a little rude and quite unhelpful. Prices are high, however they will cut you a bit of timber or whatever.
