My hubby, and I, went to the Half Moon for his birthday meal, (we were staying at the Trout Beck Farm camp site), on Wednesday the 2nd September. The service was excellent and the food, which arrived very quickly, was delicious. The beer, we both had the Timothy Taylor’s Landlord, was also delicious. We enjoyed the food and experience so much we went back again on the Friday for more, (we would have gone all 3 nights but, unfortunately, I had brought a stew with me which we had to eat on Thursday). If we find ourselves in Fellbeck again we will, certainly, go to the Half Moon to eat. Thank you, to the landlady and everyone involved, you helped to make our small break enjoyable.

Highly recommended. We happened across this place whilst out in our camper. Really friendly atmosphere & the food was amazing piping hot & delicious, we will definitely visit this place again next time we are in the area
Great food and friendly staff the lady serving us was calling my grandson by his name when we left. He thought that she was really lovely and it made his day. Thank you.
Dog friendly, Beautifully cooked food, lovely ambiance and welcoming hosts. The menu has plenty to choose from, portion size is generous and the desert menu is scrumptious. I highly recommend this lovely Yorkshire freehouse.
Great value for your money.. Meals are huge and homemade chips are amazing!!! .. Staff are really friendly too.. Always a warm welcome.
