Had a birthday lunch here. The whole experience was top-notch. Nice environment, food was spot on. What made it even more memorable was the courteous and professional service from our charming waitress and the maitre d. The latter offered some great advice on wine. Both were unobtrusive and really know their jobs. It's great to find such professionals in hospitality. We will definitley return. Many thanks to the whole team at the Drum and Monkey.

Luckily managed to get a table at short notice on a Thursday evening and couldn't have been happier with our meal. The food was delicious, we drank some lovely wines and the staff were really attentive and made us feel very welcome. Will definitely be back when next in Harrogate.

2 excellent meals in a week. Staff who actually care however delicate the situation...my parents have been coming here for over 25 years...new chef, young and dynamic...oysters were stella..dauphinoise a William Fullers favourite. All in all great value.. i just think the wine list could be more interesting( sorry). All in all lunch or dinner a total treat for a fair fair price.
