I found the pricing pretty off the wall, I bought 2.5 lt of Zinnser coverstain for a job, cost 41 .28, when I needed another tin, cost 26.98 at Toolstation. I mistakenly believed a paint specialist would give the best price. The difference between the two was just incredible. I know how gets my business next time.

I have been using Johnstone paints / Leyland paints for 26 years since I was an apprentice and coming into this store. As well as having a great range of paints and sundries . The harrogate store is run by a great bunch and i have always got on with the manager and staff which always go above and beyond to source products. Local painter and decorator

Not impressed with the service here. The price of the paint I was told would go up to over 50.00 for a 5 litre container if I waited 3 days, from 35.00 approx. The price for a 2.5 litre container was the same price, 35.00!!!!!!!!!! I was stuck because I was tight for time and the customer wanted the colour for their brochure, so I had to buy it very reluctantly. I got the feeling I was been ripped off big time, and the speed they prepared the paint gave me the impression they wanted to give me the paint sso that I could not change my mind. I will never go to this place for paint again, there are plenty of others. I will make sure I am not pressed for time next time so as not to be ripped off.
