Came In to asda yesterday morning and the customer service staff was not Apologetic for what happen . I bought a Hair straightening brush and as soon as I plugged in it went bang in my hand and blow are electric. I told the members or staff several times it went bang in my hand and they did not care . Did not ask if I wanted a new product or anything just gave us the money back .

I am very grateful for the efforts made by staff to keep us safe during the pandemic. However I have noticed over the past year that there is a growing level of micro aggression by some of the staff when speaking to people of colour. Despite being more 2 Meters away and wearing a mask, I lowered my mask very slightly so that the question I was about to ask could be understood. I was told to put my mask on fully. I understand fully why the request was made. But there is big difference a micro aggresive tone when seeing a Brown face and making your point heard.

Staff are just being rude and enjoying the power trip they believe covid rules give them. Telling me how important wearing my mask correctly is when not one in ten of your staff are wearing them is ridiculous.
