Got policy renewal for dog and had increased by 97.00 from previous year even though no claims or circumstances had changed -they have increased their costs massively over the past two years we have been with them and refuse to negotiate or reward loyalty, always citing that it is a fair price they offer and that they are merely passing on increases from their underwriter and can do nothing about it, like all insurance for pets now they are merely quoting anything they can get away with knowing that responsible people will pay to protect their animal. Owning a pet will soon become a luxury for normal people and this will be as a direct result of spiralling uncontrolled insurance costs.

If I could give less than 1 star I would. We spoke to multiple vets regarding our dogs conditions who filed all the information and were excellent in telling us what we can and can't claim for based on our pets history. 4 Paws says they are looking into it and 3 months later they haven't even began to look into it. They then did an investigation and found that somehow they didn't have to pay. We spoke to the multiple vets including the Royal veterinary college and they assured us we could claim. Now we will be taking 4 paws to court. We will be attempting to claim for the 3 months insurance we paid whilst they was deciding whether not to pay out or not and also for the thousands of pounds worth of bills we have been told they should be paying for.

Seemed like value for money but good luck trying to get in contact with them. Days and days of trying (resulting in hours of being on hold) and I'm yet to speak to a human. Update: I have increased my rating as it's now much easier to get in contact with someone. Every person I spoke to has been very helpful and sympathetic to the loss of our beloved pet.

They quote a policy for life, yet our policy despite never claiming on it went from 835 to 1485 this year and the dog is only 6 years old!!!! something needs to be done about this industry by government as policy for life means nothing when they can increase it as much as they wish each year, legalised conmen.

Had to claim as my little girl got sick. I was reimbursed all my agreed vet fees. It does take a few weeks but remember we're in the depths of a bad world-wide virus pandemic. And a great price on a life policy. PET/W/52159264/Life.
