Cute little independent coffee shop with friendly service. The only annoyance was the lack of option to put your own sugar etc in your drinks, the counter staff had to do this, but no major issue. They've clearly removed seating to make space for social distancing, which I appreciate, but there was still plenty of seating available.
Still a good coffee shop, but not the same many years ago when there were temperature contraptions to ensure your tea or coffee was the right temperature.Good location.
Premises were not very clean, chairs had stains, no one cleaning tables between customers and display shelving very dusty.... Coffee and sandwiches okay but not enough to warrant a return visit.
Lovely coffee and good cake selection (including gluten free and vegan). The staff are knowledgeable of the products and really friendly and happy to chat. Lovely lounge upstairs with comfy chairs and books (although some of the chairs lean back a bit too far for my liking!) This place has well earned its Best Customer Service Award!
