Lockdown treat! And it's our local Fish shop, well nearly. Went and sat in the car with the heater running for tea. Had probably the biggest melt in the piece of cod I've ever had. Mrs was over the moon with hers too. You'll regret going anywhere else, even out of lockdown

Excellent fish and chips. Managed to get a takeaway from here during lockdown 153 (jan 2021) Friendly server, really tasty batter and the portion sizes are fine. It’s a tad expensive but worth it! They do chip spice and sell it separately, too!
Lovely friendly staff. Fish & chips were really good. The fish was some of the best we'd eaten. Very covid safe as well.
Restaurant fully booked so we had takeaway and sat in the car.. just what we needed after surfing. Homemade tartar sauce was fresh and complimented the haddock perfectly. Staff very friendly and took care with the order(salt, vinegar etc) as with social distancing measures we had to wait outside. Slightly more expensive than most fish & chips.. definitely worth it.
Absolutely beautiful! Will definitely use Harpers I future on our journey to Scarborough.
