Friendly and well organised. Very helpful and knowledgeable - easy to discuss size of joint according to number of people and will vacuum pack meat if not to be eaten for a few days.

Excellent selection of home and locally reared meat, with an excitig selection of freshly made sausages. Fresh fish, local cheeses, eggs, bread and bakery items plus quality fresh fruit and vegetables. Also a variety of wines and store cupboard staples. A tempting place to shop. A real Aladdin's cave. Fantastic produce. Extensive selection of cheeses and meat, including stilton from nearby villages.

Great to get to a real butchers and see and choose your cuts of meat, with knowledgeable butchers on staff. Pricey if you compare with a supermarket, but much better quality.
