For a restaurant that charges upper-market prices, we expected upper-market service and food, which was a disappointment. The service team was quite disengaged and kept forgetting things, we had to ask repeatedly for our orders and things like extra glassware. Our order of drinks took nearly 20 minutes. The mussels were overcooked and the meat was served almost cold. This place has potential due to its location and concept. But the pricing is up there and the service and product is not.

The children's play area was not well maintained. A dirty playhouse missing half the roof with a play sink full of leaves and strange goop, and a climbing tower seemingly missing the slide so there was just a big unfenced off gap almost 2 metres high. Also the parasol by the table outside was squeaking louder than people could talk, and it was just in a mild breeze. It's surprising, and a bit of a shame, as the actual main building is very well maintained and impressive, and the staff were very friendly and polite.
