Where do I begin having now rescheduled our wedding twice at Harefield Barn in light of the Coronavirus pandemic we have nothing but praise for Deborah and Robert. They have been truly amazing and so patient with the repeated e mails that have gone backwards and forwards. We literally couldn't have asked for better people. They have bent over backwards to accommodate us. We cannot wait to spend our special day in the superb venue that Harefield Barn is and we just hope that our friends and family get to see the venue we have fallen in love with. I have no doubt that we made the right choice when we visited the barn all those months ago.

We had our wedding reception here last September. Harefield barn is such a gorgeous venue and the views from outside are stunning! Deborah was incredibly helpful right from our first visit to the barn up until the day itself. She was so accommodating of our frequently changing plans and really made the day run so smoothly - she even drove us around the farm for some photos on the day! We had such a wonderful experience here and would definitely recommend Harefield barn for anyone looking for a gorgeous country venue.
If you are looking for an immaculate, private and intimate wedding venue that offers you the flexibility to have a wedding your way, than look no further than Harefield Barn! This beautiful new build barn with undisturbed views of the Devon countryside really did tick all the boxes and our wedding guests were completely blown away by it's beauty. From the moment you drive up to the venue you feel relaxed, at ease and just amazed at how beautiful and uninterrupted the views are and I could not believe that this gem of a venue is only 10 minutes drive from Exeter! You really do feel like you are in the middle of nowhere and in your own bubble (without the hassle of making your guests travel excessively)! Deborah and Robert have built and maintained the venue to utter perfection and the attention to detail made the barn completely beautiful even with minimal decoration from us. On the other hand if you wish to go all out with decoration the owners have thought about everything, with tasteful fixtures and fittings to enable you to decorate until your hearts content. We only booked the venue in June 2019 and as the venue and owners were so flexible and had dates available, we decided to get married in just over 3 months and got married at the start of October 2019. The whole process was seamless and was not stressful which was the total opposite of what most people say about wedding planning. We decided to provide and make everything ourselves but if that's not your thing then Deborah has a so much experience in the wedding industry, lots of great contacts/recommended suppliers and lots of advise to help you as much as you need. There are various options in regards to where you can get married onsite to suit outside/inside conditions and also varying sizes of weddings. So whether you are having a small intimate ceremony or are planning a big 'knees up' the venue really will suit every need. All we wish is that we could relive the day all over again!
I got married here in July 2019 and it was amazing!! Such a gorgeous place, the building is perfectly fit for purpose (big space, plenty of different rooms, bar, caterers kitchen and lovely outdoor terrace). Deborah went above and beyond to answer our questions, provide what we needed and was around to offer help during set up and on the day itself, even helping set down - we were so impressed with how helpfully involved she was! On top of all of this, the venue has stunning views in all directions!
Really great venue , so pleased I chose to sleep here for a week in May. The outbuilding was perfect shelter and the place was mainly deserted. Debs and Bob were pretty upset but I guess that was due to mess I left. If they’d let me use the facilities then everything would have been flushed away :-) Probably won’t be coming back as I felt involving the Devon and Cornwall Constabulary was a bit much.
