Lived next door for 4 years and finally went in. Admittedly I failed to notice the one way system. The ordering service was a little confusing as the food you have to go up to order but you have to order drinks from your table. Seems very messy and chaotic. Should be able to do both from the table for example. Food was superb quality for the garlic mushrooms, lamb kebabs and gammon steak. Roast was not as impressive. Significant improvement to make on the presentation for the roasts. Staff were friendly and professional. Place was mostly clean and atmosphere was generally warm and inviting with some details needing a clean or refreshment.
Love this place, proper friendly & the food is amazing! You can't have the sticky toffee pudding though it's all mine!! Haha
Food was tasty, we had a selection of meals from the lunch menu plus a lovely side salad which was provided as this was not on the menu. Staff were kind enough to package up part of the meal that one of our party were unable to finish. Both the food and drink staff (as these are two separate businesses) were attentive and helpful. The actual temperature of the venue was a little chilli. Re Covid Track and Trace details collected, plenty of hand sanitizer available and table service (ordering) was in place - as per current guidance, so you felt safe.
