Should have stated opening times properly because I came all the way from rotherham on holiday and needed some gear for a sea fishing trip and when I had arrived it was only bloody shut thought it did look like a good place do I wont do 1 star

Fantastic place and reasonable prices when you consider the value My trip was browned off but had a great chat with a local bearded gentleman working in the store. Small informative museum well worth a look and a good film for young ones and coffee to be had.
Went looking for a Mitchell 300 reel as I'd had two before both giving good service. They had exactly what I wanted at a fair price. I would definitely recommend a visit for any angling enthusiasts. The staff were very helpful in advising me on places to fish on the Northumberland coast
Great place to visit, interesting museum showing the evolution of rods and reels. Very helpful staff and even an area for the non fishers to sit and have a brew whilst you browse. A must for all fishermen.
Ordered tip section for my marksman rod over the phone, 2 days later it was delivered to my home. Excellent service.
