So I've been in the U.K., then Belgium and finally France over the last two weeks away from my home in the USA on vacation and there is nothing I wanted more than an amazing hamburger. Sounds too simple and maybe a little crazy but it's exactly what I wanted and Hardwood Burger Bar gave me probably the BEST burger I have ever had! It was the Cajun Burger with a slice of cheddar and cheese-fries on the side (as per the owner's suggestion)...the Burger was cooked to perfection, medium rare, exactly like I asked for it. The fries had REAL cheddar melted over the top and as he mentioned needed to be eaten quickly to truly enjoy them. Lastly, the brioche, baked personally by the owner, was truly phenomenal! Go to the place, enjoy the food, the fast service, and the great beer!

Best burger experience in a long time. These guys only do burgers...beef or chicken or a veggie version. Their fries taste home made and are excellent. Things are kept simple and because of that the quality of the food was excellent. Mr G had a garlic and mushroom burger which packed a punch and I had the Hardwood Burger with beetroot, pineapple, egg and cheese. All cooked to our specific requests We would come back but sadly they are closed on a Monday and Tuesday. Oh and price is really reasonable.

En plein mois d'août nous arrivons a 21h40 pour un service annoncé jusqu'à 22h. Nous n'avons pas pu manger sur place... uniquement à emporter... bizarrement les concurrents.nous ont acceptés sans problème... très dommage surtout lorque l'on connait la restauration ....
Très bon restaurant, les serveurs sont très agréables, gentils, serviables. Le restaurant est propre avec une décoration qui a du goût L'installation a été très rapide comme le service même si le restaurant était plein. Les frites sont faites maison ainsi que tous les burgers y compris les pains. Le dessert du jour, un pain perdu qui était excellent avec son coulis de caramel ainsi que d'une boule de glace saveur Caramel. Je recommande fortement ce restaurant sans problème. La vente à l'emporter est aussi possible.
