Very nice place, good selection of music and clean ambience to go with your family. In my opinion it is not the best Hard Rock Cafe in the world ever but I would say it is standard. I'd been in happier service ones but this one is not bad. There are a few places in town where you can really have a tasty burger combined with a freshly bread, great sauce and crunchy french fries. Although the last time I went it wasn't so good. The bread was not fresh at all and the sauce I was I little bit afraid of putting in my burger. Honestly it was the first time that happened to me in my visit at the Hard Rock Cafe Lyon. I still recommend.

Came to the Hard Rock for cocktails and desert and was disappointed as soon as I walked in by the attitude of the hostess. Rude and not welcoming at all. She told us that she had no tables and that the only place to sit was the bar. We went there and ordered a drink but it wasn’t comfortable to have multiple bar tenders fixing drinks on your face. So I went back to the hostess and again asked for a table and she said it would be at least 30 minutes. I then showed her my Hard Rock rewards card and she acted surprised and gave us a table right away. From what I could see there were various tables available and unused. I don’t want to speculate why she didn’t give us a table from the beginning, but for sure her attitude is not what you want in a hostess. We ordered the “apple cobbler” and it was ridiculously small. This cafe is definitely not up to Hard Rock standards.
Even Rats won’t enjoy this kind of Food. Sometimes I wonder how can a Restaurant make such bad food and still works as fine. I ordered two Classic Burgers and some crispy as* Chicken Tenders and ironically they both had something in common: THE. BAD. TASTE. Our Burgers broke apart while eating and the meat was tasteless. French fries were cold and cheap. The so called chicken Tenders were horrible and seemed to be marinated ages ago. The waitress saw that our food was left uneaten and didn’t bother to ask why. Obviously we didn’t order it to take some photos. Go somewhere else, Lyon has a lot better to offer. All in all, I won’t recommend this to an enemy. *PS: 2 Stars for the location.
Disappointed. Food was ok, not great. We were there during happy hour time and checked their online menu as guided by the waitress. Although the menu clearly states that the happy hour is for all drinks, after giving our order, the waitress came to us 3-4 minutes later saying that happy hour is not for all drinks and the cocktails we ordered were not among those. The staff is good, but don't count any information on their menu. We were disappointed that the restaurant did not take the responsibility of the information that they provided on their own menu. Even the waitress was so embarrassed about this matter. Wouldn't go there again, felt bad.
A nice place to eat lunch or dinner. The food is tasty albeit typical for Hard Rock Cafe, the staff is attentive and there is wi-fi. Also you can find a lunch menu and month specials.
It was my 28th HRC I visited worldwide and it is always a pleasure. This HRC in Lyon is special in terms of style, not typically like the others but as well with the Soul of Rock. The food was awesome with high quality served by friendly waitresses. Keep in rockin' guys
Typical hard rock atmosphere. Staff appeared friendly but obviously they were overcompensating for their shortcomings. Everything was good until I received my food. Ordered the pulled pork sandwich and a long island iced tea. The fries were good. The sandwich had a hair in it, and when I got closer to the bottom of my cocktail, noticed a bar receipt was at the bottom. This was a horrible experience. The server apologized and said 'you won't have to pay for that' and all is could think of was, i had no plans on paying for it, and for you to think i would was rather insulting. Don't expect management to care about you having a bad experience either. If you go with low expectations and expecting trash to be found in your drinks, you will enjoy this location. Disgusted.
Limited menu and smaller portion compared to other ones we have been to. Small clothing store. The smoked salmon sandwich was like sashimi with coleslaw. Not what hoped for.
