Lovely pub in an awesome location, not to mention dog friendly. The staff are so very friendly and welcoming. Do stay for the food, I've had thier Scottish breakfast and lunch (on different days!) and they were faultless! Also they have a sublime selection of Gins for the evenings

Great find at top of headland, walking up from sea front. Friendly staff and good local atmosphere. And the best fish and chips - hot and golden, dry and crispy, home made mushy peas and tartare sauce. Tasty batter puffed up and falling off succulent, really tasty cod. Will actively seek this out next time. Maybe even parking up there and walking down to the beach. Oh, did I mention the excellent view from their large front windows? And at night you see the Harbour Lights.
Lovely atmosphere with friendly staff. Covid secure. Great food at reasonable prices. Dog friendly as well! What's not to like? Well recommended.
I have just had a lovely mince and dumplings loved it
Had this mince and dumplings, peas was stone cold mash potato was processed and cold, and when I told the bar maid she said that them can't get fresh potatoes as them were out of season, lol. I will not be going back here again
