We had an absolutely gorgeous meal here! Lovely seafood and lots of local drink options. We had the fishcakes (amazing!), lemon sole and salmon (also delicious) and the whisky cheesecake which came deconstructed. We were impressed with the amount of information about the new safety measures they'd put in place. A bit pricey, but the food is well worth it. Would recommend.

We had an excellent meal at the Harbour Kitchen - the mussels were super fresh and some of the best I've ever eaten. Their COVID safety measures were great and we felt safe and looked after. Book ahead because they were pretty full even on a Tuesday evening. Highly recommended if you're in Stornoway. The harbour car park just opposite the restaurant is free.
Great place for dinner. You need to make a reservation particularly in the times of covid. They didn't have the options we wanted but we opted for something else and it was delicious
Amazing food and great service! Ordered the Monkfish which was divine and had the cheesecake as well.
THE WORST DINING-OUT EXPERIENCE WE’VE EVER HAD BOOKED our table one week in advance. Provided our mobile phone number. We very much looked forward to our special dinner as it was my partner’s birthday. We travelled by taxi to the restaurant, but on arrival we saw the restaurant was all in darkness. We did not know why it was closed. We had never received any phone calls from the restaurant. No apologies at all. This was disgraceful! We ourselves will NEVER recommend Harbour Kitchen Stornoway to anyone.
