I don't remember the young lady's name but she was adorable. Very professional and treated me like a person not a number. Thank you! I highly recommend the Concentra located in Hapeville.
I went in to be seen for strep throat after I had a virtual visit early that day. The doctor recommended I go to an urgent care to get a shot, since I explained I felt like my throat was closing up. I looked up places that stayed open 24/7 close to the airport. I went inside and filled out the piece of paper and put that I had a sore throat. They asked me to sit in the car and they would call me. I received a phone call about 3 minutes later informing me that because I had a sore throat and that it’s considered a main symptom of Covid, I couldn’t be seen. I explained the virtual visit I had earlier in the day and that I had just gotten a negative COVID test the day before. She explained it could be a false negative... long story short, if you’re sick and in need of medical professionals, I would not go here. They seem to only see healthy patients.
I went around 2pm and my wait was not very long. I don't have insurance so I was responsible for the 160. I could tell the woman at front desk wanted to try and help me out before I went to see the doctor (which I appreciated) but I knew I needed some antibiotics. The staff was quick & accommodating & they didn't charge me for the injection I received in-clinic even tho I feel like they could've. I felt like they were giving me quality care knowing that I was paying for everything my self and still had my scripts to pay for. Thanks Dr. Kelly & Concentre Hapeville !
don’t bother making an appointment because they will still have you wait a minimum 2 hours for care. They have rescheduled a long standing appointment I had just to have me come in on a separate day to wait to be serviced. The assistance I needed took all of 10 minutes and there were only 5 other people in the waiting room when I arrived. Not sure what exactly they do, but it’s not provide urgent care.
