Been a buyer for about 14 years but this is the first time to have a feel of contempt (maybe I am a small buyer.....for a recent online auction) -- not satisfied with the service attitude at all. Online description misleading with the photos -- the lot description was '6' with pictures of '6 sets' of books - but received '6 copies' of books. Impolite response after first communication and I was told the 'two' sets book I asked had been moved to next two lots and sold a few hundred pounds. Wrote back and received long explain email and promised 30 compensation for 'gesture of goodwill' -- I replied with my 'goodwill' as a returned buyer. Then never been contacted again...... Impressive experience since join online auction since 2007 (BTW, I am not short for 30). ----------------------------------------------------------------- Thanks for your reply and call today after I posted this review. I have to mention that the hammer price was 80.00 for the lot. Actually at beginning I just want a 'proper' email with good service manner to explain the situation and to be communicated with -- not just 'ignore' or just simply 'return & refund' without any apologies. I won't argue with compensation or chase up the 30, just tell the truth of a client's feeling -- with my FIRST Google Review ever in last 15 years.

I didn't have the best initial experience with my auction items but I do believe that any business can have an issue, and it's the way that it is resolved by staff that makes the difference. Hannam's were quick to respond to my concerns and went above and beyond to ensure that they were dealt with for me. Any company can be great when everything goes right; Hannams were brilliant when something went wrong. I would recommend.
We have sold a number items using Hannams. The service received right through from valuation, cataloguing, sale and payment has been highly professional. We strongly recommend Hannams.
