Started buying from Hanks a few months ago after deciding to try and buy more from small local shops. This butchers justifies my decision to buy local. Great meat, friendly efficient service, happy to order things if you want something different and sensible prices. Enjoy shopping here now on a regular basis. Well worth a visit.

The old shop - Cornwall's - was always an excellent butcher's. Since taking over, Tim has taken the shop up a whole different level again. The meat is fantastic; there are always new ideas; and it's great to see the entrepreneurial spirit Tim and the team bring to it. A real pleasure to deal with.

Super butcher, meat is always excellent, their sausages are brilliant too. Always helpful and cheerful. The mincemeat they sell at Christmas for mince pies(not meat) is superb.
