Some days I wake up in the morning itching to try something new and adventurous. One particular day, that something was hang gliding (I had been thinking about it for a while). I don't remember how I connected with Ben for my first glide, but I am glad I did. Ben started with the basics, but was happy to give me as much information as I wanted when it came to understanding the essence of the hang gliding. He was flexible and accommodating with selecting a good day that worked both with my availability and the weather. The flight itself was fantastic, and Ben occasionally dropped little tidbits of knowledge to let me know what we were doing in the air. (Again, he picked up on my interest in the details). Circling around above Lookout Mountain while the sweet smell of hops wafted our way from Coors Brewery on a warm, sunny day was the perfect first flight. Most importantly, Ben made sure I knew what I needed to know and connected with the right people should I want to venture further into the sport. I recommend him highly if you're looking to give hang gliding a try.
