Really great food but even better service. Huge portions. Everyone was super friendly. Also great attention to detail regarding COVID-19 regulations. Great to have a place like this in Barry and I'd encourage people from the Vale to visit as no doubt they're feeling the impact from people in neighbouring boroughs not allowed to visit. Drop by and tip heavily!

Why are you still reading this? Just book a table for the next time there is space. 5pm? Do it. Eat the best brisket you will taste. I came from Canada for this and was NOT disappointed.
Fantastic food. The staff were really friendly and helpful. They knew a lot about the menu and the food that was on the. The food was delicious and exactly what you expect from me barbecue restaurant.
Me and my partner recently travelled from merthyr on the recommendation of a friend and I can honestly say it was one of the best places we have eaten. The staff were lovely and professional from beginning to end. The food was outstanding and very fairly priced would 100% recommend to family and friends and it is safe to say we will be returning soon.
Great independant meat & southern American BBQ food restaurant, that's won awards & still run hands on by original two owners, who've appeared on TV & have their own cook book. Note there's often a 3 month wait list for booking tables (& they will therefore likely require a deposit) although it is possible to get walk-in tables sometimes at less busy periods. Just don't expect that even on a week day evening! The food is all freshly prepared from scratch on site & owners & waitress staff are very friendly and knowledgeable. Really adding to the relaxed & friendly atmosphere of the place.
