Came here for our daughters Birthday, what a great choice! Welcomed by the staff and met the new charming owners Patrick & Sally. The venue has a family&cosy atmosphere. Plenty of space between tables. We had the BEST Sunday lunch..... Ever!! The Roast beef was delicious, the meat was tender&melted in your mouth. Lots of seasonal hot vegetables and gravy in a little jug,we hate our meals swimming in gravy. My husband had the apple crumble, the BEST he has ever tasted & he is very fussy!! We had the sticky toffee pudding, it was delicious. Can't wait to come back again after lockdown. Thank you for a thoroughly enjoyable Birthday lunch.

Lovely Sunday lunch, roast pork belly and Apple crumble. Would highly recommend a visit, looking forward to going back for an evening meal
Excellent lunch today with my husband and children. We all loved the food and I was delighted to get a proper Caesar salad and not just a pile of lettuce with dressing. It actually had real anchovies! Great service too. Well done Hand and Shears!
