Visited Hamsterly today and returned back to my car to find that a barrier had been put down and locked there was no sign to say that particular barrier would be locked only one 300 mtrs further. I was left on my own with my 2 dogs one very elderly and not in the best of health whilst my husband had to hitch a ride 2 miles back to the forestry office. Paul turned up in his van and arrogantly admitted to locking the barrier, he basically made me beg for him to open it and on 2 occasions said he wasn't going to open it I was very stressed and felt helpless. Not a nice man to deal with at all
Brilliant place go nearly everyday,if you moan on here about being stuck with a poorly dog because barrier was down maybe leave ontime and comment on the hamerstly forest reviews,some people up there own backside,you have warnings when they come down (barriers) and had to walk 2 mile you poor thing ha ha
Brilliant atmosphere here. Staff very friendly up for a chat and very helpful. Tracks all great fun. Enjoyed the new jump section and road gap, built perfectly for speed etc... Will defo be back
Love this place, always a good atmosphere. My daughter feels comfortable around the place - there are good variations in the tracks, some we can do some we cannot (yet). There is always some food on the go at the shop and some equipment for hire/buy if you need something.
