Stopped for a well needed drink on a long walk. Plenty of outdoor seating and if that ran out there's no stopping you sitting on the sea wall. The staff were welcoming and efficient. Beer good, Covid precautions generally good. I was asked for and provided contact info. I wasn't keen on having to change the sign on the toilet door (engaged/vacant) as you're doing this after washing your hands. Maybe an extra hand sanitizer outside the toilets would balance this. Definitely worth a visit. Only had a drink but would happily eat here another time.

An unexpected treat. Seaside pub with great food and beer! Pub garden as well. Excellent.
Cant wait to go back. The food was amazing. Easily The best steak I’d ever had. So soft, no fat what so ever. Same for my partners gammon. Lovely starters. Very generous portion sizes with all food. Staff were lovely, so friendly and attentive. The whole place Has such a lovely atmosphere. We really enjoyed our evening and Will definitely be booking again soon. Thank you Hampton inn!
My favourite pub along the Kent coast. A must visit if walking from Herne Bay to Whitstable along the coast. A welcoming stop-off for a pint and fish and chips (the best in Herne Bay). I've been visiting this pub since I was 8 years old, with grandparents who had a 'van' on Studd Hill nearby. Not changed apart from a lick of paint. Just go! Have a stroll along by the beach huts and take in the splendours of Kent at its best.
Nice and dog friendly place: everything was good don't miss the suberb caramel cheesecake
