I was a patient with Dr. Garrison. I was his patient at Sentara Wound Center for Four yrs. I met him in the emergency room in the yr 2015. I started going to SWC to work on Pressure sore on both legs. I went there three day a week each week. I service there was about the patient. I end up going for almost four years. I started with the right leg, when my left leg was healing, a soar develope the size of a dime. The next thing I knew, it blew open like a melon. Between the the nurse ( Miss Barbra, Miss Erin, Miss Jennifer and front desk, Miss Eurgena, Miss Syible and any more.They treated me like family. That in my opinion, that is so part of healing.I healing andy leg ( left side) healed. Dr. Garrison, talk to me and not at me. I stopped by today to talk to Dr. Garrison about something. And I miss him by a week. But when I walked into Sentara Wound Center, I felt a vibe that wasn't friendly. There two people at the desk(a white male,and a white female) when I ask for Erin the nurse, they informed me that she was with a patient. I asked them if Dr. Garrison, they informed me that he wasn't there anymore. I got a nasty look from both of them. I know that look. The vibe in that place is not what I remember.I will not recommend anyone to go to that place. If I can feel the bad vibes just coming through those as a visitor, how do you think a patient would feel. If the employees are not happy, how can the patients be and heal. I never thought the ole mighty buck would come to the wound center. I hope you correct this before it's too late.When you let Dr. Garrison walked away from you. You lost a great one there.
Rude and snarky ER doctor at Sentara Hampton. Poor bedside manner and overall unkind disposition. Disappointing encounter during a family crisis. Avoid him where possible.
