Hammonds is the best butcher in Ashtead. Proper local family business and the quality of the meat is as good as any. Forget the counters down the road that are designed to catch the customers eye. They are, at times, very misleading. Hammonds don’t have one. The produce does the talking so it’s not needed. The website details what they offer and it covers everything you’d expect from a proper butcher. They supply to the cafe next door so have a bacon and or sausage sandwich in there first. You won’t be disappointed in the slightest. Always cheerful customer interaction with Clive and the rest of the family. Can’t recommend them highly enough.
