Bought my car from Hammond Cars last June. The salesman Jack was very informative and friendly. Unfortunately, the car had some mechanical issues a few weeks after. I contacted Hammond cars to get resolved. The manager Peter gladly paid for the repair, no questions asked or issues. Overall, the sales and post sales process was great. Thank you!
I was greeted by a salesman as I was walking around the lot. He was very helpful a and asked what I was looking for. There was no big sales pitch from him but threw me the keys and let me go for a test drive In a couple of cars I was looking at. I visited a few other dealers but went back to Hammond Cars after I appreciated the no nonsense way they approached me about selling me a car. The salesman was honest about pricing and the transaction was quick.
Friendly staff, promoting cars but not pushy. Tried a number of cars and staff always helpful and keen to support without feeling rushed to buy.
Car was sold before we got there. We phoned an hour before we went, all we got was an apology. We saw another customer arrive at the same time and I guess they faced the same issue. what's worse, we were given the keys and only when we asked for a test drive were we told it was sold. Weekend written off, angry doesnt come close to describing the experience. Number plate of the car was YO17WZU. We asked to be reimbursed for petrol, the sales person said it's something he is unable to do.
