I had Wray as a driving instructor and he had taught me so much. He is very detail oriented which is what I look for in a teacher. I would recommend him to anybody that really wants to learn how to become a safe and confident driver.

BEWARE, BEWARE, BEWARE... ZERO STARS... DO NOT USE THEM...The worst place to deal with. Its been months since I completed the course. They have not registered my completion with the MTO. There is no way to contact them. They do not answer the phone. Not sure what to do next. Pulled 2 drivers abstracts (12 each) still nothing. My name is Aidan Zimmerman.

When trying to accurately review Universal Driving school I find myself at a cross roads. My experience was fantastic when it came to my In-class and In-car experience, I really enjoyed learning from the instructors. It was not until I when to Service ON to get my Driver's Licence History did I encounter problems. My paperwork was never and still has not been filed into the Ministry, leaving me with no proof of finishing driving school. For insurance purposes, it is essential I have proof of graduating driving school. (Not to mention that I am a paying customer who expect the services I paired for) I have been calling both the Hamilton and Burlington phone number and have sent 12 messages through the website. After 3 weeks of this, I still have not gotten a response of any sort or acknowledgement. I am incredibly frustrated... To provide a timeline, I finished my lessons back on March 13th and had my G2 driving test early August 14th. I have been trying to get ahold of the school since. If anyone at Universal Driving school is seeing this, please leave an accurate phone number and/or email.

i did this school and it went really well i learned everything i needed to learn and got the lessons done on time even when we had a delay because of covid... overall very good and just passed my g2 test

Please don't go here. I understand that COVID is stressful and makes many things difficult, BUT this still does not explain or excuse what my family's experience has been with this company. Starting in January 2020, right after me and my sister did the course, we were promised that a driver instructor would reach out within two weeks. This did not happen. We gave them extra time, because we understand that sometime things get busy, but they never reached out. Around a month and a half later, we called them again, trying to schedule in car driving lessons. We were told that a driving instructor would contact us withing the next two weeks. This never happened. Then COVID-19 happened, and we were never contacted or notified that they had shut down. However, we gave them many months and began calling them again after we discovered that most driving schools were opening up again. Once again, after we finally contacted them, they told us once again that both of us would be contacted them within 2 weeks. This was in late august, and we have still not been contacted. We have been calling and have been ignored. Once again, while we do understand the problems and setbacks COVID-19 caused, the experience with Universal Driving Schools has been frustrating and disappointing even before the pandemic came. This is nothing against the drivers and teachers, my teacher was great, and I have heard that the instructors are great, it's just that the company is difficult. From our viewpoint, it feels like the company will just ignore its problems and clients until they give up and go away. We have not received a refund, and we have not been contacted by them. This is disappointing and frustrating, especially since we have already paid for our driving lessons and in car driving lessons. I hope that this company will work harder to serve their customers, and I especially hope that they will finally listen to me and my sister, as we just want what we paid for.
