So this is the 3rd time they have not shown up to finish the job. The ceiling has been done and we are waiting for them to do the underfloor. These have been the reasons for the no shows: sick, funeral, double booked. mmm.. wonder what happened yesterday. Cant wait to hear (NOT)!!

My Mother and I have rental property that we take pride in. We meet all our obligations as landlords and do right by our tenants. Back in May I had contacted Energywise in regards to insulation, it took over 3 weeks for someone to call back, but I do understand it is winter and enquires must be high. after being contacted by smart energy solutions we arranged a time for them to come out to the house and provide us a quote. The quote came back and this is where we found the first problem. The quote was very high. I called other companies who had the same product for a lower unit price (10.00 less per unit price). However Energywise gave no option ONLY Smart Energy Solutions could be used. Mid July the job was due to be done. Smart Energy Solutions called to change the date to the week following .... again I am understanding. The week following the job is booked for the Thursday. Wednesday we received a call from Smart Energy Solutions saying: The job has been cancelled. Energywise had called them that morning saying all funding had stopped. There was nothing they could do it was out of their hands. So with that I called Energywise the person I spoke to said that no the funding was still in place at 50%. So to sum up I had been quoted, Job was cancelled the day before and no one seems to take responsibility. At the end of the day I don’t care about the issues between Energywise and Smart energy I care about two small children in a cold home. I was quoted an amount and I expect that to be honoured.
