We have been here before and are never disappointed. Ron’s team deliver a top notch experience. Tonight Kaleb took care of us and did a great job. I had the short rib and completely enjoyed it. My fiance had the pickerel and was equally happy. We shared appetizers (scallops and baked Brie) and both were awesome. Thanks and we will be back!

Amazing date night last week. We had ribs, mussels, poutine, and steak. Every dish was perfect. Patio was shaded and staff were wonderful. Our waitress Carmella was fantastic ️
I have been wanting to try her for quite some time as the photos on Facebook were so appealing. I ordered dinner last night and Ron was so easy to talk to and helpful over the phone. I ordered two vegan dishes Celeriac Aubergine and King Oyster Mushrooms and some Jerk Wings. Arrived home and they food was still very warm and smelled amazing. All the dishes were delicious and fabulous and I will definitely be back. The wine store has a variety of local and international wines to choose from and the patio looks very inviting. I do hope things open back soon as this place is a gem in Hamilton. Thank you to Ron and his staff who are working hard to keep doing what they do best to make customers like me very happy!
First off the owner is one of the nicest guys ever. Going to fancier restaurants as a younger person sometimes you can feel a weird energy like you don't belong, this was the opposite. The duck is hands down the best meat I've ever eaten. Perfect golden crust around the most tender delicate meat. Oh its served on the best potatoes I've eaten as well. Definitely a new go to in the city. Beautiful patio dining in the summer. Check my reviews its hard for me to give out 5 stars, but this place was one of them ones. Thank you.
Miss visiting welcoming staff and friendly owner at Mattson & Co. Despite these challenging times, the decor and class glitters through the window at night. Remaining welcoming and safe to order and pick up. Thanks!
