The experience to Dollarama the other day was fantastic I never use the self-service machine the lady that work in Dollarama she was very helpful to show me how to do it and I was happy to learn thank you

Cheap stuff (One dollar or more), good variety of goods, friendly staff, but no return or exchange, so if you are going to be reluctant to buy from a place and need to be sure about something before you buy it, this is the one. Dollar tree is new to it and it’s cheaper (1.25 Dollar or less)

I can't belive they have gone with automated checkouts. I waited in line with at least 8 people ahead of me. It was slow, as each person is not use to doing this and spent time looking for the UPC codes of each item. Then most of them ran into difficulties and had to wait for the staff to come over to help or over ride the system. It was not faster, or easier. I wonder if the compuerized checkouts get T4 slips and pay taxes? Because if they don't then that means less jobs, more unemloyed workers, and higher taxes for all of us because we have to cover these job losses, while the owner makes higher profits. I'm going to find a local dollar store that uses real workers for my future purchases. I like keeping the economy going and people employed.
Can never spend a dollar at the dollar store. I must say tho I do pretty good with making the things I buy here look rather appealing and expensive.
