Covid-19 is difficult for any lounge and requires new ideas and concepts. The selection in Hamburg, however, has been getting poorer since I visited the same lounge four weeks ago. Of course I'm happy that Lufthansa decided to reopen their lounges and that the company is at least trying to provide pre-pandemic services to their business customers, but there are some room for improvements.

One of the coolest lounges I've been to, mainly because of the space outside, with an amazing view of everything that's happening on the tarmac. It was mesmerizing to watch several airplanes land, taxi and take off -- I didn't notice the time go by, and would have stayed longer if I could!

After 2nd lockdown in Nov 2020 there is no food or drink available due to restrictions. BUT you will get a grab and go pack with sandwich, water and coffee of your choice once you leave. Great idea, although I am not sure about the difference of having a sandwich at the crowded gate compared to the entry lounge... . Reopened after Corona only the airside section - usually the Senator lounge - is open. Food choice is limited to some sandwiches and 'Franzbrötchen' (make sure to try this sweet bakery) and drinks to mostly non-alcoholic beer, water and coffee. Make sure to check the outside area, it's among the best of all lounges.

Typical LH lounge with smoking area. A bit to small, always crowdy! I like it more than lounges in FRA and MUC even the airport is smaller. Good choice of spirits.
