I was have been going to hamblins for over 20years and have never received to rude attitude i did today, back in December I order fish and chips and whilst eating I had found a black short European hair, I email and then the offer a refund today I again brought fish and chips and found a short sliver/grey when I returned the food only and few mouthful eaten the man was very rude and obnoxious, I told the man you haven't even looked in the box to see. He rudely told me i am the only person in 5 years who complained. I travel home wasting time and petrol to returned unhappy with my purchase to be treated that way. Sad to say would have never been treated that way with previous owners. I dont think I will ever return.

I enjoyed the fish & chips. Nice big pieces of snow white cod & good mushy peas. However my daughter did not like the curry sauce at all, it was weird not like chip shop curry sauce at all.
Best chipper in Bristol. Always cooked fresh and tastes great. Nice size portion too.

This is such a great Fish n’ Shop. I’ve been using this for a number of years and the fish and the chips are always cooked fresh. The staff are really friendly. I often go for haddock when it’s available and each time the fish is cooked to perfection. The prices are very reasonable and being a local resident of St George, it’s so convenient to get to. I have phoned orders through in the past and this has saved time. Friends have also been there and enjoyed their takeaway. Keep up the great service and food.
