Lovely country park with amazing views with minimal effort. Free parking. Toilets. Pub. Ice-cream van. Well laid paths. The quarry does kind of make the place look untidy but I guess it is part of the history of the place. Worth a visit.

The Country Park covers many acres of well managed land, promoting meadows and wild life, skylarks, moths and butterflies. I love to go there for the peace and tranquility. I wish all people would treat the area with the respect it deserves.

Great dog walking place and for children. The quarry made good is left with fun stones with holes in them and a mini stone circle like stone henge. The views are incredible but there are also 3 large enclosed fields for dogs, plus woodland walks. The Prince of Wales pub found here is fantastic for a coffee, from early morning, to lunch and dinner. The views again from the pub are gorgeous. Highly recommend.

My parents took me here regularly to give the dog a run over 45 years ago, this is the first time I've been back since. Stunning views over Somerset. The standing stones are New as I suspect are some of the paths. A nice walk as long or as short as you want. The local pub was very busy which was good to see in this climate.

Since we moved to the area 3 years ago, this has been a regular walk of my family, it is beautifully kept and offers stunning views. Each time we come we explore new areas and constantly surprised by what we find. And to top it off the prince of Wales pub for after walk drinks is fantastic.
