Having had to rely on the HCPD several times of the years being that I work in Haltom City, I can say that HCPD is very professional. They show up when needed, they've handled every situation very professionally, and I have the upmost respect for their team from the top down. I can only imagine that any Police Department doesn't have a great google review, but always remember that you are responsible for your actions, and when you break the law then you can expect the law enforcement officers to have to intervene. Hats off to all those on the force who keep Haltom City as crime free as they possibly can. Jim

I used to back the blue but what happened to me makes me change my mind. I had gone and bought a new car (used) but new to me. I literally left the dealership made a stop and was driving down Glenview towards Denton Highway when this officer pulls up behind me at the light. It changes and he hits the lights. Sir I stopped you for speeding. I explained that I had JUST bought the car and was adjusting to it. The speedometer is on the right on my old vehicle it was on the left right in front of me. Of course he gives me my 200 prize. It Haltom City wanted a donation for the Veterans Memorial all they had to do was ask not ruin a day that is supposed to be enjoyable. My old vehicle is 20 years old with 230 thousand miles and I have not had a ticket in over 16 years. Thanks Haltom City for ruining my new car buying experience I have looked forward to for years with your police speed traps. Shame

Lazy POS Officer declined to write a police report after an accident occurred within HCPD’s Jurisdiction. The officer appeared very disinterested in assisting those affected and because of his actions, the Claims process has been an endless he-said, she-said situation. Which, by the way, was a rear-end collision where State Law is very clear on who is liable. I hope no one hits your car in Haltom City because these people won’t help you.

Have honestly never met a more passionate group of officers wanting help out their community. Stay away from the motorcycle cops though. Those guys are ruthless and they travel in packs.
