If only I knew about Halo & Wren when I got married... As many of us, I wasn't your typical bridey-bride and I found the whole process of trying to find a dress that felt like me quite frustrating. It's wonderful to see that in that there are now many wedding suppliers, like Gemma at Halo & Wren, who want to empower couples to do things their way rather than stick to tradition. If you're after a unique, timeless wedding look but with a modern feel I'm sure you'll find just the thing here!

I highly recommend Halo & Wren Bridal to help you in your wedding dress search! Jemma was an absolute star and allowed me to try on some gowns at home during lockdown and I found THE ONE! It would have been almost impossible for me to have tried any gowns before my wedding day if it wasn't for Jemma and I'm so grateful to her! I went to so many bridal boutiques whilst I was searching for my dream dress and was losing all hope of ever finding it until I came to Halo & Wren. They have an amazing selection of dresses and designers; with so many ‘on-point’ trends. I had a tough choice deliberating between two beautiful dresses in the end! I’m so happy with my dress and I’m counting down the days to wear it when this lockdown is all over!
Finding my dress at Halo and Wren has been an absolute dream. Wedding dress shopping in a pandemic certainly took the shine off how they make it look in the movies leaving the reality on the ground not quite amounting to the bridal experience I was hoping for. I had visited 3 other bridal stores prior to H&W, which I saved until last because I got a good feeling from Jemma’s content and dress stock on Instagram and the H&W website. The first few places I visited, the appointments were just a bit cold in their nature, stiff and lacking any subject matter expertise if you like. One of them (a pretty well known online dress retailer) didn’t even bother to pin me into the dresses I was trying on to get an ‘idea’ of what a true size might look like! The moment I pulled up at H&W the disappointment of my dress journey so far literally was a distant memory. Jemma is amazing. Full stop. She put me and my guests at complete ease, was practical and pragmatic when it came to COVID precautions without being completely draconian so as to still enable that bit of dress shopping sparkle I had missed out on to date. I knew I would leave with a dress that day and am delighted to be able to support a small, fantastic boutique in these times. The selection of gowns and choice of designers is insane- not overwhelming in terms of volume so you can really get a feel for the styles you like, unique and for the modern bride who is just a bit over the whole ‘generic’ looks so often copied in many bridal salons elsewhere. The service provided by Jemma from dress selection, to decision making, to now being told my dress is nearly ready and arriving in store has been amazing- this lady really knows her stuff and I’m so so happy I came across H&W when choosing bridal boutiques. A must visit!
Wow wow wow !! This bridal shop was THE MOST INCREDIBLE!!! Jemma was just unbelievable! From helping me to point of what shoes to wear , decoration ideas through her knowledge of not just bridal wear but everything that comes with the day. Her service was phenomenal. What I love most about this shop is of course the choice of dresses. I’m not your typical bride and wasn’t really into wearing ‘the white dress’ even though I certainly tried a few and loved them , however I certainly found ‘THE ONE’ this shop has a boutique vibe but so global with very special dresses that you just don’t see in many bridal shops.
